LPL Financial Adds $2.4B HighWater Wealth From U.S. Bank

LPL Financial has added HighWater Wealth, a San Diego-based firm with $2.4 billion in advisory assets focused on high-net-worth investors, from U.S. Bank. The team has joined Quotient Advisor Partners, an office of supervisory jurisdiction of LPL.

The HighWater team includes Kristian Forster, Mike Rookus, Falko Hörnicke, Tim Davidson and Brian Rissman. They focus on providing multi-generational office services for high-net-worth individuals and families.

The team said they were attracted to LPL and Quotient for the independence, scale and advanced planning capabilities. That includes trust and estate capabilities, and a broader range of investment options and research. In January, LPL announced a strategic relationship with Wealth.com to make the estate planning platform available to LPL advisors and wealth planning teams.

“The platform’s open architecture, research capabilities and scale—along with the ability to move quickly—allow us to provide a high-touch, ‘white glove’ experience backed by a robust platform. This enables us to fully customize solutions for each client’s unique needs,” said Forster, president and CEO, in a statement.
