Jeremy Piven Finally Sells His Modern Mount Olympus Mansion for $6.9 Million

Actor Jeremy Piven has offloaded his sprawling Los Angeles property for $6.85 million—having spent more than a year trying to find a buyer for the modern Mount Olympus manse.

The 60-year-old actor snapped up the gated estate for $6.8 million in 2017 and owned it for nearly a decade before putting it on the market for the first time in January 2025, with a much higher asking price of $9.49 million, having already listed it as a $35,000-a-month rental just a few months earlier.

But the “Entourage” star faced more than a few hurdles on his path to finding a buyer, with the 6,200-square-foot dwelling bouncing on and off the market over the coming year, each time with a reduced asking price.

By November 2025, the ask had plummeted to $7.49 million—around $640,000 more than his final sale price. Having initially set his sights on a $2.64 million profit, Piven will instead walk away with around half a million from the sale of the dwelling; however, he will likely be subject to Los Angeles’ mansion tax, which currently applies to all homes sold for more than $5.3 million.

Per the city’s regulations, the actor will have to pay a 4% levy on the sale price of his home—which amounts to $274,000.

Piven, who was represented by Branden Williams, Rayni Williams, Michelle Saniei, Trevor Wright of The Beverly Hills Estates, which also worked with the buyer, has never revealed his reasons for parting ways with the four-bedroom, five-bathroom property, although he is known to boast a very impressive and varied property portfolio that includes several other dwellings.

Still, the Mount Olympus property, which was originally built in 1980, was certainly one of the jewels in that crown.

The dwelling sits on a .29-acre lot and boasts a luxe backyard with an infinity-edge pool, a sunken fire pit area, and gorgeous views of the city.

“Behind gates on a rare flat lot in Mount Olympus, this private retreat captures unobstructed panoramic views that stretch from downtown Los Angeles to the ocean,” the listing crowed. “A grand motor court welcomes you to a residence designed for elevated living and effortless entertaining.”

The property, which has striking glass walls, even earned itself a mention in Architectural Digest after Piven bought it.

“A soaring two-story glass conservatory, expansive living and dining rooms, and an open-concept kitchen with sliding glass doors invite seamless indoor-outdoor living while overlooking the skyline,” the description went on.

The main floor comes complete with several seating areas, one of which is outfitted in impressive glass walls that overlook the backyard.

The lounging rooms blend into the chef’s kitchen, which boasts with an oversized marble-topped island and minimalistic wooden cabinetry.

Further evidence of the actor’s time in the dwelling can be found in one of the elegant built-ins, which house his impressive array of awards, including three Emmy statues, which he won for his work on “Entourage,” in which he played the role of Ari Gould.

The primary suite is magnificent, with a floating fireplace and a glass-windowed wall that opens to a private balcony. It also has an en suite bathroom with a dual vanity and a massive walk-in closet.

The remaining bedrooms boast recessed lighting, mirrored closets, and private outdoor spaces.

Additional home amenities include a three-car garage, fitness center, an automatic gate, and a security alarm system.

The outdoor area is one of the property’s crown jewels as it comes complete with an “infinity edge pool spa, fire pit lounge, multiple patios, and a grassy lawn, all set against a world-class backdrop,” the listing noted.

“Perfectly positioned above the legendary Sunset Strip and moments from West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Hollywood, this is a rare chance to own a private retreat that combines scale, privacy, and one of the most iconic views in Los Angeles. A lifestyle reserved for the few,” it said.
