EXCL: Jennifer Aniston’s Boyfriend Jim Curtis Delists $1.5 Million NYC Home

Actress Jennifer Aniston‘s boyfriend Jim Curtis has delisted his longtime New York City home, just over four months after putting the property on the market for $1.5 million—and mere weeks after the couple marked their one-year anniversary.

Curtis, 50, who works as a professional lifestyle guru, purchased the 1,200-square-foot condo for just under $1.3 million in 2015 and has listed it for rent on numerous occasions in the years since, suggesting that it has been quite some time since he has lived there full time.

Then, in January of this year, it appeared that he was ready to offload the dwelling once and for all, offering it up for sale with an asking price of $1.53 million, a somewhat modest increase on the sum he paid for the condo more than a decade ago.

However, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom abode—which is located in Manhattan‘s Seaport—still struggled to find a buyer and, on June 2, the unit appeared back on the rental market, this time with an asking price of $8,950 a month, only for both listings to be taken down hours later.

The decision to delist the home comes at something of a pivotal time for the couple, who reportedly celebrated their first anniversary together in May, a day that quickly sparked furious speculation about where their romance might be headed—specifically, whether they have any plans to tie the knot.

Neither Aniston nor Curtis have commented on rumors about the romance, however sources close to the duo have hinted that, while they are very happy together, they are in no rush to get married.

“It’s a great partnership and makes Jen very happy,” one insider recently told People magazine. “Jim’s a special guy. Everyone loves his energy.”

Curtis is also said to be fully supportive of Aniston’s commitment to her work, both as an actress and a beauty brand founder, with the insider noting that he has always been happy to work around her very busy schedule.

“They both have a lot going on professionally but make time for each other during the week whenever they can,” the unnamed source added.

It’s understood that the majority of the couple’s time together is spent in California, where Aniston owns two opulent mansions: her primary residence in Bel-Air, which she purchased for $20.9 million in 2012, and a sprawling Montecito farmhouse that she bought from fellow A-lister Oprah Winfrey for $14.8 million in 2022.

Aniston has spent the last few months filming the latest season of the Apple TV series “The Morning Show” in Los Angeles, with the actress sharing a brief glimpse into life on set in an April Instagram post.

Then, in May, Curtis shared a carousel of photos capturing his “life lately,” in which he could be seen spending time with the actress on the West Coast, while also taking part in several events and work obligations back in Manhattan.

In one image of himself and Aniston, the former “Friends” star could be seen kissing her beau on his head as he beamed at the camera, while another snap showed the actress sitting cross-legged on the floor of her California home, while surrounded by her beloved dogs.

However, his own New York dwelling did not feature in the photos.

Curtis has never revealed why he chose to list the unit after so many years of ownership, however property records showed that the lifestyle guru had encountered some difficulties in keeping up with the increasing financial burden of maintaining the dwelling.

Records show that Curtis paid off a $29,538 lien on the property in early December, more than a year after it was issued.

The U.S. Sun also previously reported that he failed to make several payments on the property in March and February 2017, totaling $15,242. He paid off the money owed two months later.

There do not currently appear to be any outstanding liens on the unit, which was described in its listing as being a “beautifully maintained home” with an array of different features, not least its impressive location that is “steps away from the iconic New York City waterfront.”

Originally designed as a loft space, the property has been divided up to include two separate bedrooms, but still maintains a very open floor plan, with one of those spaces separated from the main living space only by a wall of glass.

“Designer details include a custom fabricated steel and glass wall adding to the open feel while offering privacy to the primary sleeping area, and steel built-ins utilizing wood shelving salvaged from the Old Seaport Pier,” the description added.

The red brick building that houses the apartment is also home to 26 other units and offers several high-end communal amenities, including an elevator, laundry room, and video intercom entry.

When the unit appeared on the market, it sparked furious speculation that Curtis was eyeing up a permanent move to the West Coast, potentially even a relocation to one of Aniston’s many homes, particularly as the listing came just days after he gushed about the actress in an appearance on the “Today” show.

He shed some light on origins of their romance, revealing that they were “introduced by friends” and immediately formed a strong connection.

However, Curtis noted that it “took a long time” before they went from friends to lovers.

“We chatted for a long time and we became close,” he said, adding that they have been together “a long time, months now, almost close to a year.”

Meanwhile, Aniston also spoke highly about her boyfriend in a November 2025 interview with Elle.

“Hypnotism is one of the many things that he does. He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people,” she said.

“He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity. It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”

The couple first sparked romance rumors in July when they were seen cozying up in Spain together.

In November, the couple made their relationship Instagram official when Aniston posted a black-and-white selfie of the two of them in honor of Curtis’ birthday.

She captioned the adorable picture, “Happy birthday, my love. Cherished.”
